Lijiang : A member of the Naxi Orchestra. The Naxi are the indigenous people of this region of Yunnan. They are known for their unique musical abilities as well as their written script.

Tiger Leaping Gorge : The bottom of the gorge is drapped in shadow as the sun rises. The small buildings on the gorge are the homes of local people who make the gorge their home. If you look carefully its possible to see the small trail I trekked on.

Tiger Leaping Gorge : As the afternoon gradually turns to early evening, the suns rays shoot through the canyon creating dramatic lighting at the bottom of the gorge. I was well off the main trail to get this shot. I almost fell into the river but thats another story.
